Model Overview

A fast and efficient text-to-video generation model capable of producing short videos (6s and 10s) at 512p resolution. It's a cost-effective version of the Hailuo 02 model.

Best At

Quickly generating short video clips from text prompts, especially when cost and speed are primary concerns. Also handles image-to-video generation.

Limitations / Not Good At

While this is a fast version, the original documentation notes that generation speed and model alignment/stability are areas for continued improvement. It's focused on shorter durations and lower resolution compared to higher-end models.

Input & Output Format

• Input: Text prompt, an initial frame image, video duration (seconds), and optional parameters like go_fast and prompt_optimizer.

Performance Notes

This model is optimized for speed and lower cost. The go_fast parameter can further accelerate generation at a slight cost to quality. It generates videos at 512p resolution.
